Data Architect
Design, build, and optimize the core data infrastructure supporting global Supply Chain and Procurement functions, establishing a scalable single source of truth that enables advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize the core data infrastructure supporting global Supply Chain and Procurement functions.
Establish a robust, scalable, single source of truth for critical operational data, enabling advanced analytics, proactive issue resolution, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
Design and develop data warehouse and data lake solutions for end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes.
Develop and govern robust data models.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to significantly enhance data infrastructure design, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with rapidly evolving business needs.
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize reliable Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines from diverse operational and transactional systems.
Create and maintain high-quality reports and analytical dashboards to track critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turnover, and supplier performance metrics.
Analyze and interpret data from sales history, inventory levels, and supplier performance to identify underlying trends, patterns, process bottlenecks, and opportunities for supply chain optimization.
Facilitate data quality initiatives to ensure data integrity and optimization.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data infrastructure and pipeline efficiency, reducing data latency and supporting continuous cost reduction and improvement across the supply chain.
Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and five years of data development experience; or a Bachelor's degree and seven years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience with data development.
Five years of work experience with data models and data pipeline design and implementation, ETL design and development, and data pipeline automation.
Experience with SQL, Python or Scala, and PySpark.
Experience with Databricks or Google BigQuery, and Power BI.
Experience with cloud architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Work in Fremont, CA. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required.
